Yeah, some are less obvious. They are free standing ‘boxes’, the glass held in channels cut into the wood (gotta love Studio Bitch.) Very solid/chunky. I’m liking them a LOT.
It’s the chunky, blocky I really like. You’ve kept the near sharp edges and sort of prism effect too. Paired with the wood this way is perfect. I think seeing live I would appreciate the others as much as the shot ones.
Yes, they sit well – have a really satisfying feel/heft to them. The landscapes are formed by the violence of the shot and the edges retain that dangerous edge. The boxing is both a protection (for the viewer!) and a confinement. The fence palings are 118 years old – beautifully weathered hard wood.
I like these two more, gunshot is more apparent. Are they wall mounted or can I see structure holding them?
