Crazy noisy and make a hell of a mess when they feed on my nature strip tree. But I love watching them. A street nearby has been planted full of this tree, I’m sure the people don’t know what they’re in for.
I love these guys but they are destructive – have to be quick to pick the daffodils, for instance, before they just lop them off. And we won’t even think about the doors and window sills… Still, wouldn’t have it any other way – they do bring us enormous pleasure, especially Sir Fred and Lady Amber.
